Install Conduit

Install via CLI, Docker Compose microservices, or standalone image.

Prerequisites

  • Docker and Docker Compose
  • For source development: Node.js 24+, pnpm, Redis, MongoDB or PostgreSQL

Option 1 — CLI (recommended)

npx @conduitplatform/cli deploy setup

The CLI downloads images, writes config, and starts the stack. Follow the prompts for database profile (MongoDB or PostgreSQL).

Alternative bootstrap:

sh <(curl -s https://getconduit.dev/bootstrap)
conduit deploy setup --config

Option 2 — Docker Compose (microservices)

From the Conduit repository docker/ directory:

git clone https://github.com/ConduitPlatform/Conduit.git
cd Conduit/docker
cp .env.example .env   # if present; set GRPC_KEY, DB_CONN_URI
docker compose --profile mongodb up -d

Images: docker.io/conduitplatform/{module}:${IMAGE_TAG}.

Option 3 — Standalone (fastest for app dev)

Single conduit-standalone image bundles core + default modules:

cd Conduit/docker
docker compose -f docker-compose.standalone.yml up -d

Admin UI container (conduit-ui) typically runs on port 8080, pointed at core via CONDUIT_URL.

Verify

Health check
curl http://localhost:3030/ready
